Material Handler I
Reports to: Warehouse
Location: Burlington

This is an entry level position in the Materials Department, receiving and pulling parts, providing internal customer service, and delivering parts.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have a mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform these functions:         
  • Assist in stocking parts & materials in receiving, pulling parts for production & stocking supplies       
  • Place products for ongoing operations, control the flow of product & store all products to protect from damage       
  • Maintain storage areas for cleanliness & appearance       
  • Maintain inventory       
  • Pull materials for ship lists and deliver them  to shipping       
  • Enter data using SAP software       
  • Participate in physical inventory    
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Overtime may be necessary

Experience
  • Previous warehouse & receiving experience 
  • Forklift experience 

 



Education
High School diploma or equivalent


Product Designer
Reports to: Engineering Manager
Location: Burlington, Washington

Successful candidate will work with Engineering, Sales and Marketing to develop designs for projects by performing the following duties and having the following skills:
  • Proficient at manufactured product design, especially related to rotomolded plastic tooling, plastic part, and assembly design
  • Extremely proficient with SolidWorks Computer Aided Design software
  • Design based on project specifications, engineering performance, appearance, manufacturability, service, component selection, safety/regulations requirements, product cost, and production needs
  • Able to consider many perspectives and incorporate ideas from diverse groups including those from within the Engineering group, and from Sales & Marketing, Quality, Manufacturing, Service and Purchasing groups
  • Possess basic knowledge of material strength, especially related to rotomolded plastic, injection molded plastic, and sheet metal
  • Create Engineering drawings of the designed parts, assemblies and products using SolidWorks
  • Assist with new product or product upgrade documentation including manuals and marketing information
  • Assist in the physical creation of prototypes
  • Perform within the guidelines of an agreed upon schedule

 



Qualifications
  • Must be a creative thinker and a problem solver  
  • Strong knowledge of solid modeling CAD (Specifically SolidWorks)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods and processes for plastics and sheet metal
  • Knowledge of ASME Y145M-1994, Geometric Tolerancing or other dimensioning system
  • Knowledge of Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and knowledge of quality practices (ISO 9000) and regulatory agencies (UL, CSA, CE).

Education
Engineering or Design degree and 3 years design experience preferred, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.  


Plant Manager
Reports to: VP of Operations
Location: Burlington, WA

Hands-on Plant Manager to direct and manage plant manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will provide leadership that insures the safe, environmentally conscious production of quality products in a cost-effective manner.  No relocation offered.

Qualifications
Strong management and leadership skills, required as well as excellent business, financial, and negotiation skills.  Working knowledge and exposure to world class manufacturing techniques such as lean manufacturing, JIT, MRP, SPC, US/QS9000 and Kaizen a must.
Experience
5-7 years applicable work experience and supervisory experience required.

Education
BS or BA in Business Management or related field preferred.
